the need.
Human trafficking is a crime that respects no boundaries. While many believe slavery is limited to movies and far off nations, the reality is that it occurs every day within the communities we live, work and play. Free for Life believes that the strongest communities are the ones that respond to this need — the ones that protect those who are most vulnerable.
Free for Life works to equip individuals and strengthen communities through education and outreach. Our goal is to create concerned citizens who can identify and appropriately respond to potential trafficking scenarios around them. Every person educated is an opportunity to restore freedom to someone in need.

PREVENTION
We believe the only way to protect future generations from cycles of exploitation is to prevent it from occurring in the first place.
BORDER MONITORING
Our cornerstone program is border monitoring between India and Nepal. At our station, trained staff members identify warning signs and intervene to rescue victims.
SHELTERS
At our supported home, women and girls live in a family-style environment, where there is no time limit on their recovery. Each survivor is encouraged to stay until she has completed her education.
