Technology Used to Save Children from Trafficking

A California-based nonprofit, Thorn, is building innovative tools to protect children from sexual abuse. One of these is Spotlight, which matches faces in images with those in online sex ads. This is incredibly useful for law enforcement, and the tool has already been used on nearly 40,000 cases in North America. These cases have led to the identification of more than 9,000 children and 10,000 traffickers!
