Faces of Krishnanagar

Dive Deeper Into the Town of Krishnanagar

We stand with Krishnanagar!

The town of Krishnanagar has life erupting from every corner.  As you walk down the dusty road your senses are overwhelmed by the variety of sights and sounds.  As cars whiz by you can feel the heat radiating from every direction.  The explosion of sound is true to any Nepalese city with a roar that invigorates you and creates an acute alertness.  The energy you encounter is like non other.

People walk openly between the Nepal and India border.  Sometimes they are coming home from the market, or sometimes creating an entirely new life in a new country.  We utilize the border’s vulnerabilities by strategically placing ourselves between traffickers and India.

Here are a few images of what you see on the road that leads to India.
